Tax Accountant
An established CPA firm is looking to hire a new Staff Tax Accountant for their team. They will be responsible for acquiring financial statements and processing public tax returns. Our client has been in the business for over 70 years and is one of Ohio’s largest accounting firms with multiple offices across the state! Responsibilities:
- Maintain and develop relationships with clients, preparing financial statements and tax returns
- Audit and review all work, conduct tax research and participate in technical discussions.
- Obtain client chargeable hours’ goal of 1,750 annually and have the ability to recognize additional client service opportunities.
- Knowledge of current issues and legislative changes.
- Continual increase of knowledge in audit, accounting, and tax procedures within industry-specific services.
- Use tools, systems, and processes to provide accurate reports maintaining assigned timeframes.
- Good communication skills and a “pro” team attitude
Education and Experience:
- 4-year degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in public accounting.
- CPA certified or willing to sit for certification.
