Tax Accountant
Our client is an established CPA firm in North Canton that has been in the business for over 70 years. They are one of Ohio’s largest accounting firms with multiple offices across the state.
As a Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for more than just acquiring financial statements and processing public tax returns.
Responsibilities:
- Review and audit assigned projects, conduct tax research and participate in technical discussions.
- Maintain and develop relationships with clients, preparing financial statements and tax returns.
- Use tools, systems, and processes to provide accurate reports maintaining assigned timeframes.
- Continual increase of knowledge in audit, accounting, and tax procedures within industry-specific services.
- You will have a team to support you with meeting very reasonable performance expectations and have the opportunity to be recognized for additional client service opportunities.
- Knowledge of current issues and legislative changes. A collaborative attitude and desire to groom yourself for management

Qualifications:
- 4-year degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- A minimum of 2 year of experience in public accounting.
- CPA certified or CPA eligible.
