Supply Chain Director
Step up to the plate at this well-known Global Manufacturer & Distributor that boasts over $32 billion in revenue. As the Director, your vision and expertise will be used to guide all the Supply Chain activities from both domestic and international perspectives. Your scope will include managing multiple warehouses in the USA, along with one in Canada and Mexico. Oversee the purchasing of raw materials for the North American production locations, planning of inventory, and distribution of finished goods and component materials inbound and outbound freight (including service, cost, and payment). You will have 8-9 Managers reporting to you.
Responsibilities (not limited):
- Develop and implement business management solutions including tools and processes for long-term distribution strategies which includes warehouse inventory levels and logistical infrastructure of the organization.
- Control annual purchasing, planning, and freight budgets, along with carrier contracts, performance, and pricing for domestic and international lanes.
- Identify and implement innovative opportunities to streamline cost and increase profit while improving the performance of the organization to the customer and the shareholder.
- Manage the purchasing of raw materials for North American production sites along with oversight of all replenishment planning activities of Finished Goods procured from multiple internal & external suppliers across multiple geographies.
- Coach, develop, and motivate management-level employees, creating a planning business model for all segments, monitoring production, sales forecasting, phase in/out, and expenditures for multiple locations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in experience and other education or certifications.
- Preferred candidates will have an MBA and APICs certification and other experiences such as ISO, Six Sigma, and Lean Distribution.
- Proficient with MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Knowledge and experience with ERP/MRP systems.
- Strong negotiation & knowledge of domestic and international freight

- Annual Bonuses can be up to 30% of base
- Salary base with car allowance (travel 15-25% domestically and internationally)
