Senior Planner
A well respected Distributor in Akron, OH is looking for a new team member with planning expertise.
We are looking for a professional with 3-4 years of Supply Chain. The ideal candidate will have prior training reporting sales and inventory levels, along with long-range replenishment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize planning models in an MRP/ERP System and working daily in MS Excel.
- Maintain and replenish inventory and component materials in accordance with market requirements.
- Directly coordinate with all departments & branches to strategically expedite company goals. (Marketing, Customer Service departments and Sales.
- Be ahead of the game by having a strong focus on forecasting and Market trends
- Purchasing of raw materials, quality control, forecasts, and resource allocation
- Planning, production processes, pricing, and distribution of finished goods
- Heavy interaction with external suppliers for forecasting, business trends and demands
- Creation and tracking of several reports including Gap Analysis
Pay and Perks:
- Pay range depends on experience and education
- Hours are Monday –Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
