Planning Manager-Global Supply Chain
Supply Chain Planning Manager located in Akron, Oh for a respected global distribution and processing organization.
You would be responsible for the procurement and planning of a large distribution inventory and the scheduling of certain custom finished goods. This position also holds a strong focus on maximizing financial efficiency for the company.
Job Duties:
- Managing a 4-5 person planning team with successful replenishment planning activities for finished goods and distribution order management.
- Creation of inventory planning business model and development of new KPI and various reports.
- Support in sales forecast improvement and logistic cost optimization.
- Efficient use of the company ERP system for item master and planning parameter definition.
- Coordination and execution of purchase orders with external vendors.
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Expert analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in MRP and MRP required.
- Ability to work with others and negotiation skills are a must.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Business Management or Supply Chain Management preferred or 5+ years in Supply Chain Planning experience. but not required.
- Experience with managing a team of associates in the past necessary.
Compensation:
- Hours are Monday –Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
